We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Esther Ebanks (better known as Aunt Essie or Mrs. Essie) on August 10, 2022 at the age of 94 years and 4 months. She leaves to mourn her passing children Sherwin, Ronald, Carlene (better known as Carlyn), Edith, David & Jenny, 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 2 daughters-in-law Marilyn & Jean, brothers Aruanah & Abel Powery, 3 sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Esther Ebanks (better known as Aunt Essie or Mrs. Essie) will be held on Saturday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the Boatswain Presbyterian Church in West Bay with interment following at the Boatswain Bay Cemetery. Viewing will take place from 10:00am – 10:45am prior to the funeral. Please wear bright attire.
There will also be a viewing at Bodden’s Funeral Home on Friday, 26th August from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
