The family of Mitchel Reeves Powery of Fountain Road, West Bay regret to announce he passed peacefully at his home on Monday May 31st 2021, morning, after a short illness.
Left to mourn are: His wife Clancy, 3 Sons – Rondel, Allon, and Neil Powery
4 Daughters – Daffodil Chisholm, Karen Powery Ebanks, Kerrilyn Powery, and Nicola Powery,
1 Daughter-in-law Luciana,
2 Special Granddaughters Kellee Powery-Roberts & Haley D’Hue
16 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren,
4 Sisters Eileen Fern Smith, Blonde Uzzel, Clearn Bodden & Fadey Powery,
1 Brother – Credoc Powery,
8 Sisters-in-law, 3 Brothers-in-law,
Special Friends – Elma Ebanks, Bergman Ebanks, and Mary Garnett
Special Cousins – Norah Hydes, Yvonne Christian, Victoria Ebanks, Clearstine Ebanks, Matlee Anglin, Nathalee Jackson, Carlene Carter, Ellen Scott.
Special Niece – Tricia Bodden, Special Nephews – Clinton Powery & Ricky Smith
1 Aunt and 2 Uncles and a host of other many relatives and friends.
Proceeded in death by 1 son – Kelvin Powery.
Service of thanksgiving will be held on June 27th ,2021 at Wesleyan Holiness Church, # 150 Northwest Point Rd, West Bay at 3 pm viewing of the body is 2 - 3 pm.
Interment will follow immediately at the Boatswain Bay Cemetery.
*In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CI Seafarers Association and Sunrise Adult Training Center.
