The family of the late Joy Marvaley Brown regret to announce her passing on Saturday, 25th November at the George Town Hospital. Joy passed away suddenly but peacefully after a long illness following a stroke in 2013.
Left to mourn her passing are her husband Harlee Brown, sons Maurice Fenlyn and Damain Morrison of Jamaica, stepsons in Cayman Quincy Brown, Ohara Brown and his wife Giselah, Omar Brown in the U.S., one sister and one brother and their spouses in Jamaica, sister-in-law Sharon Brown Ebanks in Cayman, one aunt, nieces, nephews and cousins in Jamaica. Special cousin, Latoya Elliott in Cayman and Shakela Henry in the U.S., special nephew-in-law Rhys Ebanks and his family, special friend Elaine Thomas and a host of friends in Cayman and Jamaica, and her devoted caregiver Carnett ‘Peggy’ Burke.
The funeral service for the late Joy Brown will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the George Town Seventh Day Adventist Church on Smith Road at 3:30 p.m., viewing from 3 – 3:30 p.m.
Interment to follow at the Prospect Cemetery.
